A camel, donkey, sheep and goats will fill the hillside at First Presbyterian Church when
the 'Living Nativity' is presented.

Three wise men following a star will find a babe in a manger and you are invited to
witness the re-enactment of the first Christmas.  The church Youth will be serving hot
chocolate and seeking donations for their San Antonio mission project.  After the angels
sing, shepherds bow and wise men present their gifts, the animals will be available for
pictures and petting.  The public is invited to share in this free event.  For additional

Orchestra to Perform at First Presbyterian Church Vivaldi's "Gloria" will be performed
by a ten piece orchestra under the direction of Bill Guthrie, Minister of Music at First
Presbyterian Church of Grapevine.  "We're very excited to have them compliment our choir
and our worship service," Guthrie exclaimed.

The Sanctuary Choir and organist Stephanie Anderson will be accompanied by a ten piece
chamber orchestra featuring violins, viola, cello, double bass, oboe and trumpet.  Soloists
include sopranos Jennifer Anderson, Peg Garner, Jacquelyn Henry and alto Carolyn
Ditty.  Guthrie says, "The aim of the music is to be joyous, as the Lord tells us to be."

Christmas Eve Services at First Presbyterian
Christmas Eve is filled with excitement and First Presbyterian Church of Grapevine
invites everyone to join in the celebration of worship.  On Wednesday, December 24th a
Children's Worship Service will be held at 5:30 pm.  This service is designed specifically
for the young although the young-at-heart are also encouraged to attend.  Candlelight
Services with Communion will be offered at 7:00 pm, 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm. The
Presbyterian Church affirms an open Communion Table so that all who have accepted
the Lord are invited to partake.  Make your Christmas Eve significant.  Join in the
celebration of Christ's birth at First Presbyterian Church, 1002 Park Blvd., Grapevine.
